This video is the song I Ain't Marching Anymore, by Phill Ochs. It is a song that is Anti War and was very convinsing in its time. It was about the early years of the Vietnam War and what the Military does about war itself...It was made in 1964 in an unknown location and was Highly used to describe the war by Vets wikipedia states... I picked this song because it is as close as I can find in song form about how I feel about war.
Here are some of the lyrics, in fact this is the chorus!
It's always the old to lead us to the war
It's always the young to fall
Now look at all we've won with the saber and the gun
Tell me is it worth it all
These are the sites I got the information from

My Personal Project
Hey Rainshadow! This long bunch of pictures is a power point that was about what I want to do with my life and the goals along it, and I put it in as best of order as I can. This is it, so bear with me!

The Grand Project
I made this for my class, but I like it enough so that I'm also posting in my personal blog.
With the world set in motion
And the time unwound at last
Is there a chance to undo what has been done?
The Destroyers have made there move
And erased the keys of the Grand Project
There numbers and voices are too many and drown fixers
The Fixers have tried to stop it
But have only delayed it from happening
There numbers and voices are to few and small
The goal of the nameless
It was to make the Grand Project last forever
But every plan has a mistake
The nameless made the humans to keep the planet in balance
They made them in an attempt to make a creature that was able to live
Able to live through the cycles and movements of the universe
And the Grand Project
But in order to live they must have the power to think ahead
This was the Grand Project’s undoing
With the power to think humans had the power to destroy
This power was labeled the Destroyers
Yet there was a loophole they left
This hole was meant as a failsafe for the Grand Project
Because with the power to destroy comes the power to restore
This power was labeled the Fixers
Yet the Fixers where silenced because the Destroyers where too many
Even with help they couldn’t win the first trial
Yet there was a way that was overlooked
Because the Grand Project is living, it can choose what to do
It takes time for this because the Grand Project was not made to go fast
And if the Humans where to listen, they can here its decision
“You have lived and grown of my spoils
You have evolved and named me as your home-world
Yet you treat me like I don’t live”
“The choice has been hard, but if you don’t change your ways
Your time and life will end if you continue your ways
Please make the right choice and help me live my life longer”
This is the voice spoke by the water and wind
By the sky and stone it is also told
Yet we have just started to listen to it
Now that it is being listened to, will we follow what it says?
Or will the Destroyers rule once again?
Will the Fixers start to make a path for the future?
The Grand Design has told us to change in its own ways
And we need to listen to it
My choice has been made to listen to the Fixers
Do you listen to the Fixers and aim for the better?
Or do listen to the Destroyers and continue on the last path?
The choice is yours to make and yours alone
Make the choice that you feel is right.

God Grew Tired of Us
OK, I was told to write a blog on the movie "God Grew Tired of Us"...But to be honest, I didn't watch it! I was sort-of tyring to finish a blog on my other Blogger (Moonwolf's Corner) and do some school work.

Human Footprint
Hello people! Today on 11/10/08, We watched the movie "Human Footprint". This movie followed the life of an average American couple, from the diaper stage to old age!
I was told to answer two questions...One being what I think about the movie, and the other being what the visual things meant to me and where they meant to mean that.
I guess that this movie was supposed to make me see what an average American life was meant to be like...But I'm not an average American; In sense, I'm the exact opposite of average! I don't like cars, and don't want to drive...I try to use less then the average amount of power...so there!
Time to answer number two! I guess that the visual things made me see how destructive human beings are. But I think that it was meant to show us how humans live.

Into the Wild
Today we watched "Into the Wild". This movie (and Book) was very interesting.
I personally think that the main person (Chris) went to Alaska because it was barely populated and he wanted to escape humanity.
I think that Chris' death was preventable, if he left earlier or if he more skill.
I think that the message is "Sometimes you have to escape society, but it's best to know know were you can go. Also sometimes even a rich person knows how the poor live" This message is positive, and this film teaches use that you can't escape human kind, yet you can go live away from it for a little bit!

"Escape from Suburbia" Review
Today, on 10/20/08, we watched a movie called Escape from Suburbia. This movie was about the rising gas costs, foreign oil, alternative fuels, and where this planet and economy is going. On my personal belief, I say that we should try to convert from oil and foreign fuels for something more Eco-friendly. But that's my option.
